Auckland Council empties red-lidded rubbish bins and blue-lidded recycling bins in Remuera on the following days:
Remuera Road and entrance to Clonbern Lane
Rubbish Bins are emptied at 6am every Friday morning
Recycling Bins are emptied every second Friday at 6am
NOTE: Following a public holiday, collection is usually one day later
DO NOT put your bins out before 4pm the day prior to collection and remove from the street as soon as they are emptied.
IF your bin has mistakenly not been emptied, please log a job with Auckland Council by phoning 301 0101

Flattened Cardboard
There are several Paper Reclaim bins located throughout Remuera for businesses to dispose of flattened cardboard. If you require access to one of these cardboard recycling bins please contact the RBA to obtain a key. These bins are ONLY for cardboard and paper products – NOT polystyrene, plastic or general rubbish. The cardboard recycling bins are emptied twice a week by Paper Reclaim.
Cardboard Reycling Bins are usually emptied on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
